Fire experiments attempted to simulate the course of the fire four times. None of the tests carried out by official experts succeeded in explaining the actual events. Mario Pfeifer builds a fifth and original duplicate of the cell in which Oury Jalloh died in order to conduct a fifth experiment. After presenting the cell to the public at KOW, Iain Peck, an internationally renowned forensic scientist and arson investigator, simulates a sequence of events, including accelerants, to recreate as closely as possible the appearance of the fire scene and the victim's condition, and to establish evidence that could prove a perpetration of the crime.
